Just like every industry, we have exhibition shows and training days. Monday of this week we had one of these events. It was a long trip down to Cambridgeshire for our guys and involved a 5am start.
The traffic was pretty bad as we approached Birmingham and then it was pretty much plain sailing down the show. We had to get there in time for a health and safety seminar at 11am. Upon entering the grounds, we just about made it! The seminar was good, we believe at SJ's Leisure that you can never learn enough and we strive to hear and learn from all the latest health and safety guidance. Our main priority is keeping our customers safe.
The stats involved in industry show how safe it really is. Last year saw our industry get some bad publicity through some tragic accidents. However, the stats show how rare these accidents happen and through working to all the health and safety guidance, you very rarely would have a problem.
Following the seminar, we visited various manufacturers to see the latest products on display from photo booths and magic mirrors to rodeo bulls and wipeouts. We also seen the very first Nickelodeon approved bouncy castles and inflatables. These included an amazing Paw Patrol Play Park. We put a nice little order in and are excited to receive the new stock at the end of March 2017. We were even more delighted to take back to SJ's HQ the very first TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bouncy castle in this range.
